Are you currently using regular packing slips? Well, you might be interested to learn about Zebra’s Z-SLIP packing slips. You could potential save over 2,000 work hours per year by switching.

The Z-SLIP is a 5” x 5-3/4” thermal-transfer packing label with an integrated peel and stick sleeve. It is an all-in-one solution simplifying the shipping process. It eliminates the extra steps and manual labor of printing, inserting and apply the packing slip to shipping boxes.

For regular packing slips, the packing slip is printed on a laser printer and it then has to be folded down 3 times in order to fit in the packing slip sleeve. Once in the sleeve, the 2 liners are removed and it is then applied on the box. This is estimated to take approximately 40 seconds. Multiply that by the number of boxes and shipments, and it adds up.

Compare this to the Z-Slip, where it is printed on a thermal-transfer label, the label is torn off and applied to the box. Less steps and much easier; only takes about 11 seconds from start to finish.

Another plus on top of the increased ease and productivity benefits, is that when it comes to receive packages, the Z-Slip offers additional advantages. The packing slip is easy to remove and access. Just peel and remove. No need for a knife or fighting with the plastic to gain access to the packing slip, eliminating the potential for damaging the paper the packing slip is printed on making it hard to read.
