Add color to your thermal labels for easier identification.

Zebra IQ Color Thermal Labels Printing

Did you know that it is that much easier to add a little color and variety to your life now? With IQ Color labels exclusively from Zebra Technologies, you can now use any Zebra thermal printer to print color on demand.

This is possible through the use of Zebra’s patented IQ Color direct-thermal ink technology. Any existing Zebra thermal printercan now print color on demand. The IQ Color enables the user to create 3 color zones, plus black on a labelthat can be activated as required to highlight important information in color within 1 label format.

For example, to create a label, you can choose from the 8 colors offered in addition to the standard black, as well as the size, shape and location of each color. Zebra invisibly encodes these on the label. To the naked eye it looks like there is no color on the label, but the printer heat-activates the ink to make the selected colors visible in the form of shapes, text, graphics (such as logos) and as well as reverse images in the size, shape and location you have selected.

This innovative technology provides an efficient, accurate and flexible alternative to other methods, such as using traditional pre-printed color thermal media, laser or inkjet printing, separate color labels or color markers. No longer do you need to stop to change to different color rolls, saving you time, money and additional inventory levels.
